Chef Denice Woods is a teaching chef, pastry chef, entrepreneur and a graduate of the Texas Culinary Academy. Before joining the faculty of TCA Chef Denice worked as the Supervisor for The Central Market – Dallas Cooking School and as a Chef Instructor at Tarrant County Community College in Arlington, Texas. She now works for Inn on the Creek in Salado TX.
Throughout her career Chef Denice has had the pleasure of working with such international celebrity chefs as Tim Love, Martin Yan, Stephen Pyles and more.
Chef Denice loves the hospitality industry and has pursued continuing education in culinary arts, wine, and food and wine pairing at the CIA Greystone in Napa, California. In her spare time, Chef Denice is the co-owner and chef of The Friendship House Bed and Breakfast in Salado, Texas. This past year she has participated in the Texas Hill Country Food and Wine Festival, hosted several food and wine pairing events at the Inn on The Creek in Salado, and offered up chocolate demonstrations and wine events at the Salado Chocolate Festival.
Chef Denice is also an active member of Les Dames d’Escoffier (Austin Chapter) and the International Association of Culinary Professionals.
