Chef Gutierrez considers himself “a Texas boy.” He was born in Montreal, but at an early age his family moved to South Texas, where Jamie grew up to high expectations.
In 1994 he graduated second in his class from a highly-ranked culinary academy in California. He then found his way back to Texas, opening each of the three Cool River locations in Austin, Dallas, and Denver.
And now, for the past two and a half years, he has been in charge of providing perfection at III Forks as Executive Chef.
